Democrats Expand Red to Blue List
Roll Call: The Democrats display extra confidence today by adding 17 candidates to their “Red to Blue” list of promising Congressional Candidates.
The new candidates are:
Ellen Simon, challenging Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.)
Charles Brown, who is challenging Rep. John Doolittle (R-Calif.)
Jerry McNerney, who is challenging Rep. Richard Pombo (R-Calif.)
Francine Busby, who is challenging Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.)
Jay Fawcett, who is running for the open seat in Colorado’s 5th district
Larry Grant, who is seeking to replace Rep. Butch Otter (R-Idaho)
John Yarmuth, who is running against Rep. Anne Northup (R-Ky.)
Tim Walz, who is challenging Rep. Gil Gutknecht (R-Minn.)
Larry Kissell, who is running against Rep. Robin Hayes (R-N.C.)
David Mejias, the challenger to Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.)
John Hall, who is challenging Rep. Sue Kelly (R-N.Y.)
Jack Davis, who is taking on Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-N.Y.)
Eric Massa, the challenger to Rep. Randy Kuhl (R-N.Y.)
Victoria Wulsin, who is taking on Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio)
Jason Altmire, the challenger to Rep. Melissa Hart (R-Pa.)
Judy Feder, who is running against Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.)
