IAFF Endorses Chris Dodd

The International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) endorsed presidential candidate Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) today. With 281,000 members, the “Dodd Squad” endorsement pales the endorsement Hillary Clinton received yesterday from United Transportation Union representing 125,000 members.
Although I’m sure the Dodd campaign was pouring champagne today, they will need considerably more endorsements from the approximately 120 labor unions (non-independent) to position Dodd as a viable candidate. His current rating in the national polls is approximately 1% to 2%.
