Jon Stewart takes on Elite Outrage

This is one of Jon Stewart’s best. Stewart rips apart the "elitist" kerfuffle, turning it around by saying he wants a president that far surpasses somebody like himself. This is one you have to watch. I can’t possibly do it justice by merely describing it.

If nothing else, the laugh is cathartic.

I think Obama was right on. I grew up in central PA and a lot of people are pretty much as he described.

It’s good to know you see this “elitist” farce for what it is.

Love it - dead on in his commentary, while also being incredibly sarcastic and funny. This whole debate over one word (in addition to many of the other debates in this election) is embarrassing to the country and our intellectual capacity. Am relieved someone can publicly acknowledge the humor in it. Too bad those that wouldn’t get the joke have just as equal say in our future leadership.

Indeed. Stewart is incredibly skilled at using satire to rip someone to pieces, for a legitimate reason, while simultaneously applying a “Band-Aid” for the innocent victims. Or at least that’s the effect I frequently realize.

I was rather P.O.’d with Clinton’s shenanigans before watching this episode the other night. After 20 minutes of laughter, I wasn’t so “bitter.”
