Jeremiah Wright on Bill Moyer’s Journal

For those that are interested and may not know, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s former pastor, will be on Bill Moyer’s Journal next week (4/25).
Moyer’s show airs every Friday at 9:00 PM ET where I live, but that probably varies in other locations.
First .. I’m a white guy .. Second .. I enjoyed the interview with Jeremiah Wright. I believe your interview was easy to understand and the communication was good. I sympathize very much with the points that Wright made to his congregation. America is a terrorist power .. from the viewpoint of the American Indian as well as the viewpoint of our enemies. Could America take the challenge to be about healing, truth, honesty, integrity, feed the hungry, and lift up the oppressed .. if we could we could be blessed. I’m afraid though that America’s chickens have come home to roost. Maybe we have it coming. We live in tragic times.
Bill Moyer .. it was a good interview and very respectful.

I was very impressed with the interview and the open dialouge between the two of you. I had been told that Pastor Wright had gotten those words from someone else and they were not his exact quotes. I think that we have made too much about nothing, which is what most of what the Clinton’s have been doing since the beginning of the primary.
