There will be more spin coming out of the Hillary campaign today than ever before. Hillary trounced Obama in one state and she’ll now consider herself part of the Deity. It’s important to take Hillary’s win last night and put in perspective.
Hillary has won two states by 60 percent or more – West Virginia and [...]

Eli at FDL: "When life hands you Obama-is-not-a-Muslim, make Obama-is-not-a-Muslimade."

Hillary told a few lies in her speech tonight, like "the number of delegates needed to win is 2,209," but this statement definitely surpasses that.
So as we look at the stakes in this election, I think we can all agree it’s been unprecedented. We haven’t had an election like it for as long as anyone [...]

As if the Democratic debate wasn’t enough, Good Morning America and Kate Snow did a great job of promoting "Obama is Muslim" this morning. Perfect timing for the West Virginia primary.
Tell ABC they must provide an on-air apology.
Transcript and video via John Aravosis:
GMA’s KATE SNOW: Janis said she can’t support Obama.
JANIS (voter): He’s Muslim and [...]

Never mind the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in China that has killed more than 8,500 people. Obama is wearing a flag pin in his lapel today.
Barack Obama, who labeled discussion of whether he wears a flag pin in his lapel a false issue in a debate with Hillary Clinton, was wearing one Monday as he campaigned [...]

Newt Gingrich advices Barack Obama, in a Newsweek op-ed, he should further clarify "Change you can believe in." Of course, Newt knows the basic rules — don’t "complain" without providing a solution. The solutions Newt offers are the foundations of the GOP’s 1994 "Contract with America" or the "five popular themes" he developed in [...]

Jeralyn at TalkLeft thinks "Barack Obama’s greatest contribution to America would be as Attorney General in a Hillary Clinton administration."
I’m confused. I thought Barack Obama was running for President and was the frontrunner.
Let’s check…

I thought so. Unless Hillary Clinton is running for Attorney General and losing [...]

Oh yeah! Obama is getting ready to do a little business with John McCain. And that gas tax plan McCain initiated and Hillary plagiarized on? It appears he will get an opportunity to discuss it frequently.
Obama said McCain has received "a free pass" while he and Clinton have battled for months.
McCain, he said, "has [...]

Hillary in Kentucky today:
"The only way we can have a Democrat in that White House come next January is to win in November, and we cannot win unless we can win 270 electoral votes," she said. "Look at the map, figure out where we’re going to get those votes, and which candidate is more likely [...]

The Los Angeles Times illustrates today how much the people of West Virginia oppose, to put it mildly, Barack Obama. Hatred of blacks existed in West Virginia long before Barack Obama came into the picture and no one could reasonably argue that many of these bigots would ever vote for any African-American running for [...]

Maybe a wave is beginning.
Obama has a net gain of seven superdelegates today. One jumped ship from the Clinton camp, but Clinton added a delegate giving her a net gain of zero. Also Rep. Rahm Emmanuel (D-IL), a long-time Clinton supporter, referred to Obama as the "presumptive nominee," but has not endorsed either candidate [...]

When pressured on who he voted for in the North Carolina primary, John Edwards said, "I just voted for him on Tuesday."
There’s no doubt about the "him" part. The question is, was it a slip, or a subtle announcement?

This is from the email I noted in my last post. The Obama campaign is turning up the rhetoric to counter Hillary’s ever-changing rules to win the Democratic nomination. The timing and the tone of the message can hardly be coincidental. As of one hour ago, Clinton was meeting with the Democratic Congressional Campaign [...]
